Note to Members: Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators Regulation - Testing Requirements
Further to our Note to Members dated February 13, 2014, Members are reminded of the changes to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators’ Regulation requiring companies operating commercial vehicles to write a test before their Commercial Vehicle Operators’ Certificate (“CVOR Certificate”) will be issued.
Further to that Note, the CMPA has been working with the Ministry of Transportation to hold a training session for Producers (or their designates) who would like assistance in writing the test. This training session will provide members with the “ins and outs” of the test and information as to why the amendments to this Regulation were put in place.
This training session will take place at 9:00 a.m. on June 17, 2014. The venue will be determined once the CMPA has a sense of how many of its members are interested in taking part. To that end, please RSVP here by no later than May 16, 2014.
